Easy Application Process - Whether you are a Contract or Per Diem clinician the ConTemporary application can be done easily on line or in person. We need to know what you want, so our recruiters will discuss your goals, expectations, desired locations and skill set to make the best match with one of our facilities.
Once your application is complete you become active in our system and can be matched with a position or wait for a future opportunity when the timing is right for you. ConTemporary Healthcare does NOT charge a fee to the clinicians for our placement services.
When your application is completed, ConTemporary will present your qualifications to facilities that are looking for professionals with your skills. Our contract specialist will present the work opportunities in detail to you including the pay rate, shift information, hospital descriptions, housing options and more. The hospital will contact you for an interview over the phone which gives you the opportunity to get a feel for the assignment.
Great Pay and Benefits - ConTemporary pays very competitive rates plus a several types of bonuses that can really add up. Pay rates vary depending on your specialty, the location and the facility but we will always try to negotiate the best package to offer you.
Daily Pay is one of the clinician's favorite benefits at ConTemporary. Daily Direct Deposit, Daily ATM Pay, or Daily Check Pickup are options that get your pay into your bank quickly.
Our 401(k) with a 5% match of your contribution is a great way to save. You can elect to participate from your very first paycheck and you vest immediately, so you keep our contribution even if you leave us.
Health Insurance is first day coverage to any Travel Clinician who would like to enroll. Dental / Vision Coverage and Short Term Disability are also available. You can take up to a month off between confirmed assignments and still keep your benefit coverage at the same levels.
Licensing Reimbursement is available if your adventure takes you to a new state. We also offer FREE online Continuing Education through our partner www.Baysideceu.com.
Assignments that meet your needs - Most Travel assignments are 8 to 13 weeks and can be customized to meet your specific needs. Full time is usually 36 to 40 hours worked per week with overtime available in some facilities. Often the facility asks our professionals to extend their stay, but that's your choice.
If there are any clinical issues while your working, ConTemporary's Clinical Liaison is available 24/7 to help with patient care questions or concerns. Experienced Staffing Specialists are available 24/7 to assist you with scheduling and other issues as needed. Help is just a phone call away.
Housing & Travel - Tax Free Travel reimbursement helps you afford the temporary move to your assignment community. Your recruiter will help you decide if you should bring your car or rely on the public transportation modes available in some big cities.
Free, private, furnished housing is provided on all assignments. Standard one-bedroom apartments are located in reputable apartment complexes conveniently located near your assignment. We allow a 2 day move in period before and after your assignment dates. Many of the properties we rent feature luxurious amenities, including pools, fitness centers and tennis courts.
Family members are welcome at all of the housing complexes that we contract with. Many of these communities also allow pets. You may be required to pay a monthly fee for two or three bedroom housing and a pet deposit is standard in most units.
For travelers who choose to provide their own housing, there is the option to receive a housing stipend. Your Contract Specialist and Recruiter will help you do the calculations to determine which package is best for you.
